Based within one of our Waste Management Depots throughout North Lanarkshire, you will work as part of a team to provide the Council's Refuse Collection Service and will be involved in the removal of food, household, industrial or commercial waste from a variety of locations.
You will be trained in manual handling and previous experience of refuse collection duties and vehicles would be advantageous although full training will be available. You should also be capable of dealing effectively with enquiries from the public and be able to follow verbal and written instructions. You will be willing to participate in routine or ad hoc overtime to meet the requirements of the service and be required to work in all types of weather.
Work Pattern (Average 37 hours per week) (19 Positions)
- Week 1 β Monday, Thursday and Friday 6:45am β 6:10pm
- Week 2 β Tuesday, Wednesday, Saturday 6:45am to 6:10pm and Sunday 6:45am β 5:30pm
