We are currently recruiting an Occupational Therapy Assistant to join us in our team based in Bellshill. If successful, you will be part of a team delivering an accessible and professional social work service to our communities across North Lanarkshire.
Your role will include offering advice, support and assistance to both individuals and families and to partner agencies including police, health and housing colleagues. You will also be involved in some individual and group work programmes and assist in preparing written reports and assessments.
To apply you must demonstrate excellent communication skills and possession of a relevant qualification in Social Care, e.g. HNC or SVQ Level 3 or equivalent is essential. Together with previous relevant experience working within a social work or social care setting is also essential. You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
Working Pattern:
- Monday - Thursday: 08:45am - 16:45pm
- Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm
