Based within the Integrated Equipment and Adaptions Service, Motherwell, you will lead a team of technicians to deliver, install, repair, collect and demonstrate a variety of equipment to promote independent living. You will allocate work on a daily basis, monitor and inspect this work to ensure all work is completed to a high standard and compliant with agreed service levels. You will monitor performance levels within the team, identify areas of improvement and assist the Service Manager and Stores Manager in identifying and introducing new products and technologies into the service. You will also provide technical advice to fieldwork and IEAS staff on equipment installation and develop and deliver training to staff.
Responsibilities:
- Lead and manage a team of technicians.
- Allocate, monitor and inspect daily work to ensure high standard and compliance.
- Identify areas for improvement and optimise resources.
- Assist Service Manager and Stores Manager with new product introduction.
- Provide technical advice to fieldwork and IEAS staff.
- Develop and deliver training to staff.
Qualifications & Requirements:
- SVQ Level 3 or HNC in a relevant discipline (or working towards one).
- Relevant semi-skilled background and experience dealing directly with the general public.
- Experience working with people with disabilities is desirable.
- Valid driving licence.
- Will become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member before commencing.
Working Pattern:
- Monday β Thursday: 08:45 am β 04:45 pm
- Friday: 08:45 am β 04:15 pm
