Responsibilities
- Work with children in the Enhanced Provision Class to support them in the school environment.
- Assist with children's personal hygiene and maintain stocks of hygiene sundries.
- Daily reception and departure duties, and messenger or escort duties.
- Prepare classroom materials, set up and operate teaching aids, record programmes and perform reprographic work.
Qualifications
- Recent experience working with children in a voluntary capacity or school setting.
- Good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Willingness to undertake statutory NHS or Education training as required.
- Experience working with children or young people who have additional needs is desirable.
Conditions
- Must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing.
- Work pattern: Monday–Thursday 8:55am–3:40pm, Friday 8:55am–12:25pm.
