Work: 27.5 hours per week (4 posts), Temporary until 27/06/2027.

Responsibilities

  • Work with children in the Enhanced Provision Class to support them in the school environment.
  • Assist with children's personal hygiene and maintain stocks of hygiene sundries.
  • Daily reception and departure duties, and messenger or escort duties.
  • Prepare classroom materials, set up and operate teaching aids, record programmes and perform reprographic work.

Qualifications

  • Recent experience working with children in a voluntary capacity or school setting.
  • Good communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Willingness to undertake statutory NHS or Education training as required.
  • Experience working with children or young people who have additional needs is desirable.

Conditions

  • Must become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing.
  • Work pattern: Monday–Thursday 8:55am–3:40pm, Friday 8:55am–12:25pm.
