We are looking for a Home Support Team Leader to work within our Out of Hours Service which is based in Motherwell. You will have operational responsibility for ensuring our community-based home support workers across North Lanarkshire deliver a high standard of responsive and proactive care to service users and their families.
You will assist the Service Delivery Manager implement and maintain effective systems of accountability, quality assurance and performance management, ensuring all personal support plans are monitored and reviewed within statutory timescales.
As this role involves co-ordinating and managing a team of dispersed Home Support Workers it is essential that you can demonstrate that you have excellent organisation, management and leadership skills to ensure effective use and management of resources. Extensive working experience within a social work, home support, voluntary or independent sector setting is essential.
Possession of a SVQ Level 3 in Health & Social Care or equivalent is desirable; successful applicants who do not currently hold a relevant qualification will be required to complete this within 3 years of commencing in post.
You are required to become a member of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to commencing in this role and be registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC).
Out of Hours Team - Will include evening and weekend working, full details will be discussed further at interview.
Work Pattern: 2 on 6 off
Hours: 21:00 - 08:00
