Responsibilities
- Ensure children are safe and happy during the meal break.
- Supervise children during meal times in the dining hall or other areas of the school, directed by the Head Teacher.
- Assist with welfare and promote positive conduct in line with Council policy and procedures.
- Clean tables and spillages; keep the dining area clean and tidy at all times.
Qualifications
- Experience of working with children in a school situation or voluntary capacity, and the ability to work well with children with additional needs are desirable.
- Positive, approachable and pleasant with good communication and interpersonal skills.
- Punctual, reliable; basic knowledge of hygiene and cleanliness; ability to execute routine tasks on own initiative as well as following the Head Teacher’s instructions.
Requirements
- You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
Work Pattern
- Monday-Friday: 12.00pm until 1.00pm
