As we continue to evolve and enhance our operating model, we are seeking a motivated and customer-focused Debtor Officer to join our team.
This is an exciting opportunity to contribute directly to the financial sustainability of an organisation with a portfolio of almost 1,000 commercial properties, supporting local businesses, communities and regeneration across North Lanarkshire.
The Role
As a Debtor Officer supporting Income and Accounts Recovery, you will be responsible for proactively recovering rental and property-related income, reducing arrears and supporting the financial sustainability of North Lanarkshire Properties LLP. Working closely with surveyors, technical officers and colleagues from the Council’s finance and legal services, you will help ensure outstanding accounts are managed effectively, contributing to the organisation's objectives around income generation, customer engagement and financial resilience.
About You
We are looking for someone who combines strong financial administration skills with excellent customer service and communication abilities. You will hold a SVQ Level 2 qualification or equivalent and have experience working within a debt recovery, debtors, finance or income collection environment.

Work pattern:
35 hours per week - Monday - Thursday: 08:45 - 16:45 (including a 55 minute unpaid break) Friday: 08:45 - 16:15 (including a 50 minute unpaid break)
