We are recruiting a Locality Leader to work within our Cumbernauld Locality Support Services. If successful, you will work closely with the Locality Manager to ensure delivery of high-quality, person-centred support and care packages for individuals with learning disabilities. You will manage a team who provide support to vulnerable people within our local communities; therefore, you must be able to demonstrate that you have the skills and experience to ensure your team feel supported and motivated to undertake their roles.

You will also be involved in a range of HR tasks including recruitment and selection, training and development, employee relations matters, and financial budget management arrangements. A SVQ Level 3/HNC in a relevant discipline is essential together with extended experience of working with people with disabilities. You should be an effective communicator with an understanding of policies, procedures, and standards in relation to disability services. It is essential that you can promote and develop socially inclusive support arrangements.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role. This post is temporary for approximately one year. Interviews will be held within our social work offices in Bron Way, Cumbernauld on the 14th September 2026.
