As part of the Operations team, working in Time Capsule, Coatbridge, you will be there to assist our customers within our busy venues and ensure that they enjoy their visit. The customers’ safety, especially within the pool area, will be your main responsibility.
All candidates should either possess a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, be working towards the completion of it or be willing to undergo appropriate training to obtain the appropriate qualification. A variety of tasks will be undertaken in relation to the efficient operation of the venue including general cleaning duties, setting out equipment and preparation for events.
In addition, you must also have an understanding as well as experience of the health and safety requirements within the leisure industry. Equally important is your team player attitude as is your ability to work on your own initiative. Possession of excellent communication and customer care skills, as well as the ability to comply with the flexible hours associated with the needs of the Venue are also essential.
As a requirement of these posts, the successful candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland. As a casual worker you will be offered work as and when required. You will not be guaranteed a fixed number of hours per week and will only receive payment for hours worked.
