The predicted salary is between 14.83 - 14.83 £ per hour.

Do you have the Leadership in Running Fitness (Jog Leader) qualification, be working towards the completion of it, or be required to undergo appropriate training to obtain this qualification? As part of the Jog Leaders team, working across North Lanarkshire, you will be the backbone of the groups to support others in their running journey. You must be passionate about the difference a jog group can make to someone’s physical and mental health.

Anyone can become a Jog Leader, as long as you’re friendly, passionate and supportive and give up some of your time for anyone wanting to participate throughout North Lanarkshire, with our 2 main areas being Motherwell and Airdrie. In addition, you must also have an understanding as well as experience of the health and safety requirements when setting out routes. Equally important is your team player attitude as is your ability to work on your own initiative.

Possession of excellent communication and customer care skills, as well as the ability to comply with the flexible hours associated with the programme are also essential. As a casual, there is no obligation for North Lanarkshire Council to offer you work, nor are you obliged to accept work. You will be required to obtain a satisfactory Level 1 check through Disclosure Scotland. Application will be processed by the Council for successful candidates and must be attained prior to commencing employment.

Work Pattern: Casual, however sessions are; Mondays- 6:30pm to 7:30pm, Tuesdays – 7:00pm to 8:00pm, Wednesdays – 6:30pm to 7:30pm, Thursdays- 7:00pm to 8:00pm.
