The predicted salary is between 27937 - 29666 £ per year.

We are currently recruiting a Technician to work within our Integrated Equipment and Adaptation Service in Motherwell, helping us ensure people have access to a range of equipment and adaptations to help them live safely within their own homes and communities. This role will include delivery, removal, installation, and demonstration of the range of aids and equipment provided to help people with their daily living. You will also undertake equipment maintenance and repair when required and removal of equipment from service users' homes when no longer required.

We are looking for applicants who have experience working directly with the public, preferably people who have disabilities. You should also be experienced in the use of hand and power tools such as drills, grinders and floor fixings etc., experience of using PAT testing equipment and possess general good DIY skills. Applicants must hold a full UK Driving Licence and a relevant trade qualification.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.

Working Pattern:

  • Monday - Thursday: 08:45am - 16:45pm
  • Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm

The temporary position is contracted until 1 year from start date.
