North Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Legal & Democratic Support Assistant to join our Legal and Democratic Services team. In this varied role, you’ll provide support across several areas, including Enterprise, Litigation, Democratic and Member Services. Your responsibilities will also cover key operational functions such as the mailroom, print room, and reception.
You’ll work closely with teams across the Council and liaise with external organisations, so strong communication skills and the ability to build positive working relationships are essential. We’re looking for someone who is highly organised, adaptable, and able to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment—no two days are the same. This is a fantastic opportunity to be part of a small, supportive team and gain valuable experience within local government. This is a static role based at the Civic Centre in Motherwell.
