With a new five-year Programme of Work to 2028 in place to deliver on the shared ambition, an opportunity has arisen for a Trainee Technical Analyst to join our Technology Development team within Finance and Technology.
Our one-year Undergraduate placement as a Technical Analyst is designed for individuals who want to pursue a career in Technology Development and are currently studying a degree course (Software Engineering or equivalent) which includes a one-year work placement. You will receive formal training in addition to on the job training to enable you to gain the skills and qualifications needed to drive our Ambition forward.
You will have the opportunity to develop and support new technology applications and business solutions driven by the implementation of the council’s DigitalNL and SmartNL programmes. This post is an exciting and challenging opportunity for a dynamic, confident and highly motivated individual who is currently studying for a relevant degree equivalent qualification. You will work on a full-time basis in the Technology Development team during your placement year. This role will work on a hybrid model of home-based and office-based work within the Civic Square, Motherwell.
Working Pattern:
- Monday - Thursday: 08:45am - 16:45pm
- Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm
These positions are temporary until 1st September 2027.
