The predicted salary is between 6 - 29 £ per hour.

Based within our venues throughout North Lanarkshire, you will work within our Sports Development Football Development programme, working at various Leisure Centres throughout North Lanarkshire. The overall aim of our football programme is to provide young players a fun, safe and enjoyable experience where they can develop and learn new football skills. The programme's objectives are to improve the health and wellbeing of participants and to promote a higher level of participation in football throughout North Lanarkshire.

You must possess a relevant Scottish FA coaching qualification and as part of a strong, established team of coaches, you will be responsible for planning, organising and delivering an appropriate range of football activities. You will be a dynamic and experienced sports coach who will inspire young people to achieve their full potential and to deliver top quality sessions.

As a requirement of these posts, the successful candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland.

14 Hour Post Working Pattern:

  • Monday: Ravenscraig | 15:40 to 18:10 (2.5hrs)
  • Tuesday: Shotts | 15:10 to 19:10 (4hrs)
  • Wednesday: Ravenscraig | 16:40 to 19:10 (2.5hrs)
  • Thursday: Ravenscraig | 15:40 to 18:10 (2.5hrs)
  • Friday: Ravenscraig | 15:40 to 18:10 (2.5hrs)

In addition to the permanent position outlined above, we also offer flexible casual worker opportunities for those who prefer flexible and variable hours on an as and when basis. Casual Coaches undertake the same essential duties and are ideal for individuals balancing study, other employment, or personal commitments. Work patterns will be discussed at interview, and we welcome applicants who are motivated, team-oriented, and committed to supporting the health and wellbeing of the local community.
