Working with a variety of partners, the Enterprise and Communities service has a key role in guiding this regeneration towards sustainable development. Hybrid working between home and an office base in Motherwell, you will assist in the provision of a comprehensive administrative support service, including personnel and finance duties and providing advice and assistance to the public on a full range of housing and property services. Your main duties will include:
- Co-ordinating and scheduling inspections and repairs with contractors and members of the public.
- Co-ordination of appointed inspections and repairs via the use of Dynamic Resource Scheduling Tool/equivalent.
- Invoicing, input to HSMS systems and retrieval of information.
- Dealing with enquiries from customers, elected members and other service and general administrative support.
You should be IT literate with a working knowledge of Microsoft computer packages together with moderate experience of working within a clerical or administrative environment. Excellent organisational and communication skills, both oral and written and a professional manner are essential. Self-motivated, you should have the ability to prioritise your own workload to meet deadlines and maintain a high degree of confidentiality. A working knowledge of HSMS and E-Financial systems and experience/knowledge of current housing or property related environment are desirable.
Work pattern: 35 hours per week - Monday - Thursday: 8:45am - 4:45pm (including a 55 minute unpaid break); Friday: 8:45am - 4:15pm (including a 50 minute unpaid break).
