We are looking to grow our development team and have an opportunity for a skilled and experienced Development Project Coordinator.

About the Role

North Lanarkshire Council is seeking a Project Development Coordinator to support the delivery of its ambitious new supply housing programme. You will provide specialist advice across early RIBA design stages, support site identification and feasibility assessments, develop project briefs, and help co-ordinate design development. You will also contribute to the Strategic Housing Investment Plan and Affordable Housing Policy.

Key Responsibilities

  • Provide design and technical input across early to handover RIBA stages.
  • Identify and assess potential development sites.
  • Develop and manage project briefs.
  • Co-ordinate consultants, design teams, and internal stakeholders.
  • Support delivery of high-quality new build housing projects in line with council governance.

About You

You should hold a Degree/HND/SVQ4 qualification and have significant experience in housing development, community regeneration, or related fields. Knowledge of housing development processes is essential and experience in project management, community consultation, technical housing design or new build delivery is desirable.
