The predicted salary is between 26300 - 29000 £ per year.
Located within the Civic Centre, Motherwell, you will join the Finance service to assist in maintaining the integrity and security of all Council Tax and Benefits software systems. You will also assist in ensuring that the service provided by the Revenues and Benefits workstreams is to an optimum standard and is in accordance with agreed policies, procedures and service standards.
A confident, well organised and self-motivated individual, you do not need any formal qualification as full training will be provided; however, IRRV Benefits Technician, IT/information systems certificate or equivalent are desirable. You should have comprehensive IT experience and experience of working with a number of systems and software as well as having experience of reviewing performance to achieve agreed objectives. Experience of working with Open Revenues software would be advantageous.
With excellent interpersonal and communication skills, you will have the ability to work as part of a team or on your own initiative. You should have the capacity to work under pressure to meet demanding deadlines whilst maintaining a high degree of accuracy and attention to detail. A flexible approach to work is also considered an essential requirement.
The successful candidate will be subject to a criminal records check provided by Disclosure Scotland.
Working Pattern: Monday - Thursday: 08:45am - 16:45pm, Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm.
