An exciting opportunity has arisen for an enthusiastic Learning and Development practitioner to join the Talent and Organisational Development Team as a Learning and Development Advisor. The post will play a key role in supporting the development, delivery and evaluation of a wide range of learning and development activities across all Services of the Council to support the delivery of the priorities within the Plan for North Lanarkshire.
You will work in partnership with managers from across all Services as well as our Talent and OD Business Partners, HR Business Partners and colleagues within Employment and Policy to design and deliver effective and innovative learning solutions utilising a blended approach to meet the needs of the business. You will be comfortable delivering in a range of environments and take a digital first approach in all that you do.
You will be an excellent communicator with well developed facilitation skills and the ability to work with various types of groups in both online and in person environments. You will be familiar with M365 and have a flexible approach to delivery. You will work a hybrid model of home-based work and office-based work within the Civic Complex, Motherwell.
You will be qualified to SCQF Level 8 or equivalent and possess excellent communication and facilitation skills alongside experience of supporting learners on an individual and group basis. Ideally you should have a certificate in Learning & Development or an Assessor’s qualification or be prepared to work towards achieving one.
