North Lanarkshire Health and Social Care Partnership (HSCP) is the integrated partnership between North Lanarkshire Council (NLC) and NHS Lanarkshire (NHSL), operating through the North Lanarkshire Integration Joint Board (IJB).

We are seeking an exceptional strategic leader to join our Health & Social Care Partnership as Chief Officer / Head of Planning, Performance & Quality Assurance. This pivotal role will lead strategic planning, commissioning, performance management and quality assurance across the HSCP, ensuring high-quality, integrated services that improve outcomes for service users, carers and communities.

Working closely with senior leaders, elected members and external partners, you will drive innovation, transformation and continuous improvement while shaping the future direction of health and social care services. We are looking for a proven senior leader with extensive experience in strategic planning, performance improvement and partnership working within a complex public sector environment. You will bring strong political awareness, exceptional leadership skills and a track record of delivering impactful change, service excellence and best value.

Interviews will take place on Thursday 13th August 2026. As this is a joint partnership post, the successful applicant has the opportunity to be considered for employment under either North Lanarkshire Council or NHS Lanarkshire Terms and Conditions of Employment.
