An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Climate & Energy Team assisting in the development and implementation of energy efficiency programmes and projects for the corporate property portfolio. You will be joining a dynamic and flexible team who currently operate a hybrid working model of home and office-based working at the Civic Centre offices in Motherwell.
You will be required to undertake energy audits within properties and make recommendations on where reductions in energy/water consumption can be achieved. You will also be required to maintain and develop the energy information sources and to develop reports for client services.
An SVQ3/HNC or equivalent qualification is essential along with an extended period of relevant work experience. Knowledge of the operation and control of Building Energy Management Systems (BEMS) and Energy Management software including monitoring and targeting of consumption is desirable.
You will be self-motivated, confident and have excellent IT, interpersonal skills and be able to work both on your own initiative and as part of a team to meet performance standards and deadlines. The ability to travel throughout the area of North Lanarkshire Council is essential.
Work pattern: 35 hours per week - Monday - Thursday: 08:45 - 16:45 (including a 55 minute unpaid break) Friday: 08:45 - 16:15 (including a 50 minute unpaid break).
