An exciting opportunity has arisen to join our events team, supporting the delivery of events and productions within our theatre and events venues. Active and Creative Communities within North Lanarkshire Council provide a number of varied Culture and Leisure services across the authority area.

The Venue Attendant role is critical in the delivery of the event-based programme at Cumbernauld Theatre, Airdrie Town Hall and Colzium House in Kilsyth. The successful applicant will be responsible for the set-up and resetting of events within the above venues together with ensuring the facilities are cleaned before and after events. You will require excellent customer care skills and previous experience of key holding responsibilities.

Reporting to the specific Team Manager, we are looking for highly motivated individuals with experience of caretaking, cleaning and maintenance work. Ideally with some event experience, but not essential. These are casual roles with no fixed hours or working pattern, but applicants should be willing to work daytime, evenings, weekends and public holidays and be willing to attend training sessions.
