We are looking for a dedicated and customer‑focused Facility Assistant to join our team within one of our local establishments. In this role, you will play an important part in ensuring our buildings are welcoming, safe, and well‑maintained for all customers and service users.
Key Responsibilities:
- Providing a high‑quality service to members of the public
- Supporting building control and security
- Carrying out cleaning duties to maintain a safe and hygienic environment
- Performing minor maintenance and repair tasks as required
To be successful, you should bring experience in a customer‑focused environment and be confident dealing with the public on a daily basis.
Essential Skills:
- Strong administrative abilities
- Good communication skills
- Competent IT skills
Desirable Experience:
- Previous work in a facilities management setting
- Experience carrying out security checks
- Cleaning duties and minor repair/maintenance tasks
Successful candidates will be required to join the PVG Scheme before starting. This will be arranged by North Lanarkshire Council.
Working Pattern:
Monday - Thursday: 16:00pm - 18:30pm
Friday: 15:30pm - 18:30pm
