An opportunity has arisen to join our Roads team, focusing on roadworks monitoring and construction activities to ensure civil engineering works comply with relevant legislation, standards and approvals.
Key responsibilities include:
- Providing professional advice and constructive solutions to support successful project delivery.
You will hold an HNC (or equivalent) in a relevant discipline and bring strong knowledge and practical experience of road maintenance and civil engineering works. Experience of working collaboratively with contractors and a wide range of stakeholders, both internal and external, will be a key advantage.

A sound understanding of road policy and relevant legislation is essential. With strong organisational and IT skills, you will confidently use Microsoft Office applications and communicate clearly and effectively, both verbally and in writing. You will be able to analyse technical information and explain it clearly to customers, contractors and stakeholders. You must hold a current UK driving licence to apply for this role.
Work pattern: 35 hours per week - Monday to Thursday: 08:45 - 16:45 (including a 55 minute unpaid break); Friday: 08:45 - 16:15 (including a 50 minute unpaid break).
