Empowering Inclusion Across North Lanarkshire
North Lanarkshire Council is seeking highly motivated and experienced Education Development Officers to join our Education & Families Inclusion Team. This is a leadership role, reporting to the Inclusion Manager, and is focused on supporting the delivery of inclusive education and support services for children and young people with additional support needs across our learning estate.
About the Role
As an Education Development Officer within Inclusion, you will support the Inclusion Manager on workforce planning, policy development, performance reporting, and improvement within Inclusion. You will work closely with senior officers from Education & Families and other partners across the Council.
We are looking for candidates who have experience in performance management and can take a lead role in preparing Inclusion related data for internal and external key stakeholders.
The Education Development Officer will assist senior officers in the development and delivery of statutory services which fully comply with the relevant legislation, thus support schools and Early Years establishments in promoting and delivering on GIRFEC, presumption of mainstream and inclusive practises.
