The predicted salary is between 1300 - 1600 £ per month.

Based in Wishaw Sports Centre, your main task will be to assist our customers within this busy sports venue and ensure that they enjoy their visit. The customers' safety, especially within the pool area, will be your main responsibility.

All candidates should either possess a RLSS National Pool Lifeguard Qualification, be working towards the completion of it, or be required to undergo appropriate training to obtain the qualification. A variety of tasks will be undertaken in relation to the efficient operation of the venue including general cleaning duties, setting out equipment, and preparation for events.

You will work as part of a team and must be a strong swimmer. You will have a pleasant manner, good communication skills, and a helpful approach when dealing with our customers. As a requirement of this post, the successful candidates must obtain Protection of Vulnerable Group (PVG) membership through Disclosure Scotland.

Work Pattern:

  • Week 1 - Friday 5pm to 9pm, Saturday 12pm to 7pm, and Sunday 3pm to 10pm
  • Week 2 – Saturday & Sunday 8am to 3pm
