The predicted salary is between 36145 - 42115 £ per year.

Do you have a vested interest in supporting children and families to empower them in improving their opportunities and outcomes? Do you have experience in delivering early intervention programmes that address individual needs? Are you an effective communicator? If so, we want to hear from you.

The ELC Family Engagement Service will enhance the existing universal and additional support provided by ELC nursery settings by creating and developing an early intervention service within Education and Families and in collaboration with partner services. This will deliver flexible and responsive family support in line with the family support principles.

We are looking to recruit compassionate, nurturing, knowledgeable and flexible practitioners to form the team that will develop this exciting service. The successful candidates will be aligned to a Family Learning Centre and will work peripatetically across the local cluster area and in partnership with a range of services. This will include supporting families’ individual needs through a variety of approaches including home visits, group work, crisis response/support.

Work Pattern: Alternate Wednesday, full day Thursday and Friday - 17.5 hours per week that are flexible to meet the needs of the families. This may include weekend work at times. This is a temporary position until 31/10/2026.

You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing in this role.
