We are currently recruiting Temporary Early Learning and Childcare Key Workers across North Lanarkshire, with a range of full-time and part-time opportunities available on both a term-time and 52-week basis.

South Area: Bellshill, Motherwell, New Stevenston, Holytown, Muirhouse, Wishaw, Shotts, Harthill

North Area: Cumbernauld, Airdrie, Coatbridge, Kilsyth, Stepps

Successful applicants must hold an HNC in Childcare (or equivalent qualification). You will require to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member through Disclosure Scotland and obtain a satisfactory membership check prior to commencing in this role.

Please note we would also welcome applications for Casual Early Learning and Childcare Key Worker for our Casual Register who can work on an ad hoc basis, as and when required, in various schools across North Lanarkshire. Please indicate on your application form if you wish to apply for the Casual Register.

Information session and interviews for this post will be held on the evening of 19th February 2026.

*For all casual/sessional roles, you will receive 12.1% of your hourly rate for every hour worked in total recompense for annual leave, including public holidays. These rates will be indicated separately on your payslip. You will only be paid for the hours that you work.
