Job Title: Disability Information Officer (Part Time)

Salary: NLC7 – £31,000 to £34,000 per year (pro rata)

Applications are invited for a role based within the Integrated Equipment and Adaptations service in Motherwell.

Responsibilities

  • Provide support, information, advice and signposting to staff and service users on a range of social care and housing issues.
  • Act as a core member of the Making Life Easier development team.
  • Collaborate closely with partner agencies throughout North Lanarkshire.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Good organisational and communication skills, with the ability to meet deadlines with minimal supervision.
  • High level of initiative and good knowledge of information technology.
  • SVQ Level 3, HNC or equivalent in a relevant discipline, and prior experience working directly with members of the public.
  • SVQ in Administration, Communication and Information Technology is desirable.

Other Requirements

  • Completion of Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme membership before starting.
  • Current UK driving licence.

Working Pattern

17.5 hours per week. Week 1: Monday and Tuesday 08:45–16:45 (55‑minute unpaid lunch). Week 2: Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday 08:45–16:45 (55‑minute unpaid lunch).
