An exciting opportunity has arisen within Community Learning and Development (CLD) team for a CLD Worker (Adult Learning) to support the operational development and delivery of Adult Learning in North Lanarkshire.
Working as part of the Adult Learning and wider CLD teams the post holder will ensure the delivery of community-based adult learning and support for adults from disadvantaged communities across North Lanarkshire through delivery and the management of support worker staff. This involves working collaboratively with partner agencies, third sector and volunteers to provide adult learning programmes. The post holder will also monitor and evaluate services provided through effective planning and contribute to the reporting requirements and the wider evaluation of the CLD programmes.
An enthusiastic and motivated individual, you will be working with young adults, families and adults within a community setting. You will be knowledgeable and have a good understanding of current national and local developments in working with vulnerable adults with a particular emphasis on current adult learning policy and objectives. The successful candidate will have experience of collaborative working with a variety of agencies as well as good communication skills and the ability to work well as part of a team
You must have a CLD Standards Council approved professional qualification in Community Learning & Development.
