We are looking for someone enthusiastic and motivated to join us to help deliver a professional and effective clerical and administrative support service within our Sports Development Department. The postholder will provide a full range of clerical support to the organisation. You will be responsible to the Sports Development Management Team for the efficient performance of administrative duties as allocated.
If successful in your application, you will have a good standard of education and undertake a varied and diverse range of administrative tasks. This can include:
- Preparing and processing purchase orders for supplies and services via an electronic system
- Preparing and processing accounts/invoices for payments adhering to the company’s financial regulations
- Dealing with enquiries from the public and partner agencies
- Inputting and extracting data from IT systems and databases
- Preparing letters, reports etc.
- Recording minutes from business meetings
You should have some knowledge or experience of working in an office environment and be able to demonstrate good organisation, communication and interpersonal skills. A working knowledge of working with IT systems including Microsoft software packages and the ability to maintain a high degree of confidentiality regarding all aspects of work are essential.
The work pattern for this role will be Monday to Thursday 9:00am to 3:00pm (20 Hours).
