Responsibilities
- Clean and maintain school premises to ensure a clean and hygienic environment.
- Oversee the work of the cleaning staff and ensure quality standards are maintained.
- Use a variety of cleaning equipment and products, applying knowledge of health and safety.
- Self‑motivate, work flexibly and collaborate effectively within a team.
- Communicate clearly, organise work efficiently and solve problems proactively.
Qualifications
- Previous supervisory experience and experience in commercial cleaning.
- Knowledge of cleaning equipment, products and associated health and safety issues.
- Excellent communication and organisational skills.
- Ability to work independently and take initiative.
- Requires membership of the Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme prior to commencing.
Working Pattern & Locations
Chryston High School (2 posts)
- Post 1: Monday‑Friday, 06:00 – 08:00 (10 hrs)
- Post 2: Monday‑Thursday 16:00‑19:00, Friday 15:30‑18:30 (15 hrs)
St Michael’s Primary School
- Monday‑Friday, 06:00 – 09:00 (15 hrs)
