We’re looking for a friendly and enthusiastic Café/Bar Assistant to join our team at Palacerigg Golf Course, Cumbernauld. This is a fantastic opportunity to work in a vibrant environment where you’ll play a key role in delivering exceptional food and beverage service to our customers.
As a Café/Bar Assistant, you’ll help with the daily running of the café and bar, ensuring our customers enjoy the best possible experience. You’ll serve food and drinks in a courteous and professional manner, maintain stock levels and displays, and ensure hygiene and safety standards are met at all times. You’ll also handle cash transactions, accept deliveries, and keep storage areas clean and organised.
From maintaining high standards of customer service to supporting licensing and health and safety requirements, you’ll be an essential part of our team. We need someone who is reliable, self-motivated, and able to work effectively under pressure in a busy catering environment. You should have good communication and numerical skills, experience in catering and cash handling, and a flexible approach to working hours.
Knowledge of food hygiene regulations, HACCP/COSHH and a Personal Licence (Alcohol) is desirable, and holding an Elementary Food Hygiene certificate is required. This is a great opportunity to work in a dynamic setting, meet new people, and be part of a supportive team. You’ll enjoy a varied role with plenty of scope to learn and develop your skills.
These posts are temporary seasonal positions working from March to October. The weekly shift pattern will be discussed further at interview.
