Overview
An opportunity has arisen to be part of the Technical and Design Section within the Assets and Procurement. The successful candidate will be responsible for providing architectural design, project planning and contract administration on a wide range of building contracts carried out on behalf of the Council ensuring an economic and efficient service.
Responsibilities
- Provide architectural design, project planning and contract administration on a wide range of building contracts carried out on behalf of the Council.
- Support the Design Coordinator in the successful delivery of the Council’s corporate capital programmes.
- Ensure compliance with all relevant legislation, such as planning and building regulations, the CDM regulations and recognised best practice.
Qualifications and Experience
- Degree, HND or equivalent qualification in a relevant subject.
- Significant post‑qualification experience working in a relevant field.
- Full driving licence.
