This position is temporary until 23rd March 2028.
Responsibilities:
- Ensure appropriate supports are in place for both individuals and their families whose lives are affected by substance misuse.
- Provide day-to-day operational management and leadership of the team.
- Ensure effective use of targeted resources through joint working with partner agencies including the Alcohol and Drug Partnership and Harm Reduction Service.
- Lead service improvements and maintain high standards within the integrated addiction recovery team.
Qualifications:
- General degree or equivalent qualification such as a CQSW/DipSW, degree in nursing, occupational therapy or equivalent.
- Significant relevant experience working with vulnerable service users and experience of working closely with partner agencies.
- Registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing.
- Post-qualifying certificate in child protection, mental health or addictions is desirable.
Working Pattern:
- Monday - Thursday: 08:45am - 16:45pm
- Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm
