Salary: NLC13: £56,329 - £61,498 Per Year

This position is temporary until 23rd March 2028.

Responsibilities:

  • Ensure appropriate supports are in place for both individuals and their families whose lives are affected by substance misuse.
  • Provide day-to-day operational management and leadership of the team.
  • Ensure effective use of targeted resources through joint working with partner agencies including the Alcohol and Drug Partnership and Harm Reduction Service.
  • Lead service improvements and maintain high standards within the integrated addiction recovery team.

Qualifications:

  • General degree or equivalent qualification such as a CQSW/DipSW, degree in nursing, occupational therapy or equivalent.
  • Significant relevant experience working with vulnerable service users and experience of working closely with partner agencies.
  • Registered or eligible for registration with the Scottish Social Services Council (SSSC) and required to become a Protecting Vulnerable Groups (PVG) Scheme member prior to commencing.
  • Post-qualifying certificate in child protection, mental health or addictions is desirable.

Working Pattern:

  • Monday - Thursday: 08:45am - 16:45pm
  • Friday: 08:45am - 16:15pm
