You will be primarily based within Coatbridge Housing Office, however, you may be required to work from any Housing Office throughout North Lanarkshire.
Reporting to the Locality Housing Manager, you will manage the administrative team to ensure that all aspects of the administrative and clerical support functions are delivered effectively.
You will be responsible for providing a high level of administrative support, managing the office systems effectively. You will co-ordinate all aspects of personnel, finance and administration work of the Housing Area Office, ensuring appropriate administrative resources are dedicated to ensure the smooth work flow of the office. You will also assist the Housing Locality Manager with budget monitoring and debt recovery.
You should have an SVQ2 or equivalent in an administration or finance based discipline with moderate administrative experience, experience of working to deadlines and financial skills.
Experience of working with the public and experience of working in a housing related environment is desirable. A housing related or IT qualification, supervisory skills and E-financial experience are also desirable.
This post is temporary for a period until 03/02/2027.
Working pattern:
Wednesday – 1.15pm – 4.45pm
Thursday – 8.45am – 4.45pm
Friday – 8.45am – 4.15pm
