As Deputy Head Housekeeper, you will help lead the busy vibrant team and ensure thousands of guests experience wonderful stays in immaculate rooms.
Your day to day:
- Implementation of the required standards of cleanliness and presentation of rooms.
- Mentor your team to ensure they provide the highest standards and attention to detail at all times.
- Responding to guest comments and issues in a professional manner and rectifying any problems as soon as possible.
- Ensuring the team are completing their work within a set time frame.
- Cleaning of bedrooms to required standards.
- Ensuring the hotel procedures are followed by the team.
- Deputising for the Head Housekeeper as required.
- Assisting in the induction and training of new team members.
- Assisting in the controls of stock ordering and linen management.
- Assisting with the coordination of the team to deliver the highest standards.

The standards of our bedrooms will leave a lasting impression on our guests. As Deputy Head Housekeeper, you will need a keen eye for detail and enjoy meeting targets. You will need to be able to communicate on all levels. You will need to keep calm under pressure, reacting effortlessly to unexpected circumstances and taking them in your stride. If you are passionate about delivering meticulous standards and can motivate others to do this, then this could be the role for you.
Ideally, you will have previous experience in a 4 star hotel environment with supervisory or management experience. However, if this sounds like you and you would like to bring your personality to work, then we would like to meet with you.
Our business is open all day every day, so you will need to be flexible with the times you can work.
