Why Lafford Homes?

Lafford Homes is a dynamic and fast-growing housing developer, established in 2016 to deliver high-quality homes for private rent. While our roots are in the rental market, we are now expanding into new homes for sale, reflecting our ambition and evolving role in the housing sector. We currently own and manage a portfolio of 142 rental homes, with additional properties under construction. Operating across Lincolnshire and beyond, we have a strong pipeline of developments and a clear vision for growth. Our focus is simple: to provide well-designed, high-quality homes backed by first-class customer service. Whether for rent or sale, we are committed to creating places people are proud to call home.

Key responsibilities

  • Co-ordinate property viewings, tenant applications, and property designation.
  • Manage void properties, including scheduling works and ensuring compliance (e.g. gas safety, EPCs).
  • Conduct pre-tenancy inspections, inventories & termination checks.
  • Oversee day-to-day repairs and update the repairs diary.
  • Liaise with contractors and monitor service contracts (e.g. grounds maintenance).
  • Maintain accurate records and assist with performance monitoring (void turnaround, rent loss, etc.)
  • Support marketing efforts and tenant communication (property listings, customer surveys etc.).
  • Respond to enquiries and help resolve tenant issues and complaints.

Your experience

Essential:

  • Full driving license and access to a vehicle.
  • Experience in property or tenancy management.
  • Confident communicator with strong organisational skills.
  • Knowledge of landlord responsibilities and compliance (e.g. Right to Rent, safety checks).
  • Comfortable using Microsoft Office and property systems.
  • Able to manage your own workload and travel to sites as needed.

Desirable:

  • Knowledge of tenancy law and housing regulations
  • Experience in voids and repairs co-ordination.
  • Familiarity with KPI reporting and housing regulations.

Working Conditions

This is a hybrid role, with a mix of home working, office attendance and site visits across Lincolnshire. The role requires a valid driving license and access to a vehicle. Occasional evening or weekend work may be required for inspections or tenant meetings.

  • Ensure the company is successful and recognise that profit is essential for the success and longevity of the business.
