North Kesteven District Council is seeking an enthusiastic professional to join the Visitor Venues team; This post puts you at the heart of a dynamic department which is critical in the promotion & delivery of the Council’s heritage services.
Job Requirements- A strong interest in heritage, aviation, museums, or tourism
- Experience in a customer‑facing or public engagement role
- Ability to work with volunteers and work independently when required
- Reliable, organised, and comfortable handling cash
- Maintaining high levels of cleanliness across the venue
- Proactive and flexibility to work at other heritage sites, if required
- Welcome and engage with visitors to enhance their experience
- Assist in managing the Museum’s artefact collection in line with required standards
- Support in the planning and delivery of public events and activities
- Support in the planning and delivery of educational visits
- Co‑ordinate with volunteers and work closely with the Heritage Tourism Officer
- Ensure safe, smooth, and high-quality site operation
