Assistant Manager (Administration)
Full-time (37 Hours) – Permanent
Grade C1 – £33,366 – £36,124 per annum
North Kesteven District Council is seeking an experienced administrator to join the Waste & Street Scene team based at Metheringham Depot.
The post will put you at the heart of a high performing team providing service administration and contract management of customer facing services.
The working hours for this post support that of the operational service and is a role to be delivered from our depot in Metheringham.
Job Requirements:
• Either academic or vocational qualifications, or equivalent experience in administrative functions
• Demonstrate high standards of behaviour, performance and team management skills
• Negotiating and influencing skills with colleagues, customers, contractors and partners
Key Responsibilities:
• Reporting to the Waste & Street Scene Manager
• Day to day management of two service contracts
• Direct responsibility for the supervision, direction and development of small team of administrative colleagues
• A responsibility for financial, physical and information resources of the unit
Key Attributes:
• Highly organised, confident and conscientious person
• Excellent communication skills
• Ability to work to deadlines
• Understands the importance of teamwork
