We're seeking a Process Business Analyst to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact for one of our UK Utilities clients.

Summary

As a Process Business Analyst, you will play a crucial role in supporting the delivery of one of 16 projects. Your expertise in business analysis, coupled with your understanding of the water/wastewater industry (highly desirable but not essential) and operational technology, will be instrumental in driving process improvements, requirements documentation, and stakeholder engagement. Your contributions will directly impact the success of this transformative initiative.

You Will

  • Capture and document comprehensive business requirements, including functional, non-functional, and process-related needs.
  • Conduct gap analyses and impact assessments based on site surveys to inform design decisions and architectural solutions.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement to validate and refine requirements, ensuring alignment with the organization's goals and governance procedures.
  • Design and map AS-IS and TO-BE processes, particularly for the JML (Joiners, Movers, Leavers) process for operational technology.
  • Support the identification of new policies in areas such as governance, information security, and operational technology device management.
  • Provide procurement support and shape requirement definitions for key projects, such as Network Access Control, Privileged Access Management, and Secure Configuration & OT Asset Survey.

Ideally, We'd Like

  • Proven experience as a Business Analyst, with a strong understanding of core competencies and delivery methodologies.
  • Familiarity with the water/wastewater or other regulated industries, particularly in the context of operational technology (not essential).
  • Exposure to cybersecurity concepts and their application in operational environments.
  • Knowledge of governance, compliance, and risk management frameworks.
  • Excellent communication and stakeholder engagement skills, with the ability to collaborate effectively across diverse teams.
  • Critical thinking and problem-solving abilities to identify and address complex business challenges.
  • Adaptability and the willingness to work in a dynamic, fast-paced environment.
