SUMMARY

As a Senior Consultant specialising in Data Governance and Strategy, you will lead initiatives to establish and enhance data governance frameworks, operating models, and data quality standards. You will partner with clients to define and implement holistic data strategies that align with business objectives, ensuring data is trusted, well‑documented, and compliant with regulatory requirements. Your expertise will help organisations unlock the value of their data assets through robust governance, metadata management, and strategic planning.

YOU WILL

  • Develop and implement data governance frameworks, operating models, and data strategies aligned to business goals.
  • Advise clients on the creation and execution of enterprise‑wide data strategies, including data stewardship, ownership, and accountability.
  • Develop and enforce data quality standards and monitoring processes.
  • Establish and maintain data lineage, metadata management, and taxonomy practices.
  • Define and manage taxonomies and data classification schemes.
  • Advise clients on regulatory compliance and best practices in data management.
  • Facilitate stakeholder engagement and change management for data initiatives.

Ideally, we'd like

  • Bachelor's or foreign equivalent degree in computer science, computer engineering, data engineering, or a related field
  • Knowledge of data governance principles and best practices
  • Experience working with data visualisation techniques and tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau, Looker) and deploying enterprise‑wide analytics dashboards
  • Experience with AI and machine learning integration in data solutions, including working knowledge of AI governance frameworks and ethical considerations
  • Demonstrated ability to translate data insights into business value and communicate complex technical concepts to executive stakeholders
  • Strong ability to work independently and collaboratively in a dynamic, hybrid environment
  • Strong communication skills and ability to translate complex technical concepts to non‑technical stakeholders

Travel

Regional travel expected on an as‑needed basis, depending on client needs, up to 50%.
