As the world's leading change and transformation consultancy, we're helping businesses move from strategy to reality by taking a pragmatic and practical approach to build solutions that last. We're seeking a Data Engineer to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact for our Central Government client. This is an initial 3-6 month PAYE Umbrella contract that will require onsite working in London 2-3 days per week. Applicants must also have a valid SC clearance used in the last 12 months. Due to the nature of the role, applicants must also be a UK national or hold UK dual citizenship.

YOU WILL
- Design and develop scalable data pipelines to extract, transform, and load data from various sources.
- Implement efficient data storage and retrieval mechanisms to ensure data integrity and accessibility.
- Collaborate with cross‑functional teams to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions.
- Optimise data processing workflows to enhance performance and reliability.
- Develop and maintain data models, data warehouses, and data lakes to support reporting and analytics.

- Stay up-to-date with the latest data engineering technologies and best practices to continuously improve the organisation's data capabilities.
IDEALLY, WE'D LIKE
- A degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
- Significant experience in data engineering, with a strong understanding of data architecture, ETL processes, and data modelling.
- Proficiency in programming languages such as Python, SQL, and Spark.
- Familiarity with cloud‑based data platforms, such as AWS or Azure.
- Knowledge of data warehousing concepts and experience with tools like Snowflake, Redshift, or BigQuery.
- Excellent problem‑solving skills and the ability to work collaboratively in a team environment.
