We are seeking a Strategic Workforce Planning Manager to help us take vision to value and create lasting impact for our Telco client. Please note, this is an initial 3 month contract working inside IR35 PAYE Umbrella that will require onsite working in London 2 days per week.
SUMMARYThe Strategic Workforce Planning Manager will play a crucial role in designing and implementing a foundational Strategic Workforce Planning framework that aligns the organisation's workforce shape and size with its long-term priorities and operating models. This position will enable the business to build a baseline understanding of the current workforce, identify critical capabilities, and provide data-driven recommendations to address emerging skill gaps.
YOU WILL:- Lead the design and development of a Strategic Workforce Planning process that ensures the workforce is well-equipped to meet the organisation's evolving needs.
- Conduct in-depth analysis of the current workforce, including headcount, role families, critical capabilities, and skill gaps across functions.
- Provide clear and actionable recommendations to build and scale the Strategic Workforce Planning process.
- Collaborate cross-functionally to align workforce planning with the organisation's long-term priorities and operating models.
- Develop and implement strategies to address workforce challenges and support the organisation's growth objectives.
- Leverage data and analytics to drive informed decision-making and workforce planning initiatives.
- Significant experience in workforce planning, HR consulting, or a related field.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to translate complex data into meaningful insights.
- Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills to effectively present recommendations and drive change.
- A deep understanding of workforce trends, emerging technologies, and best practices in Strategic Workforce Planning.
- A track record of successfully designing and implementing Strategic Workforce Planning frameworks.
