Job Vacancy: Health and Wellbeing Manager

Location: North Highland Cancer Information & Support Centre, Thurso

Hours: 21.5 hours per week (part-time)

Gixed term 18 months, opportunity to extend.

Are you passionate about making a difference in your community? Do you have strong management and organisational skills and a heart for supporting those affected by cancer?

The North Highland Cancer Information & Support Centre (NHCISC) is seeking a dedicated Health and Wellbeing Manager to lead the day-to-day running of the Centre and drive its growth. You will manage staff and volunteers, develop vital partnerships, coordinate services, and help plan fundraising activities to secure the Centre’s future.

Key Responsibilities :

· Oversee daily Centre operations and volunteer coordination

· Manage administrative and financial records

· Develop and expand services based on community needs

· Build and maintain links with local health professionals, groups, and businesses

· Collaborate with the committee on fundraising and outreach

What We’re Looking For:

· Experience in management or leadership roles, preferably within health, charity, or community settings

· Excellent organisational, communication, and interpersonal skills

· Ability to manage multiple tasks and work independently

· Passion for community support and improving wellbeing
