We’re looking for a practical, hands-on individual with a passion for technology and a desire to make a difference in people’s lives. As an Assistive Technologies Technician, you’ll play a key role in developing, maintaining, and supporting technology that helps older and vulnerable residents live independently and safely at home.
Whether you’re just starting your career or looking to build on existing experience, this career-graded post offers a fantastic opportunity to grow your expertise in a service that’s rapidly evolving. You’ll be working directly with telecare equipment — setting up, installing, testing, repairing, and maintaining devices that help people stay safe and independent at home. The role may also involve managing stock and supporting our equipment remanufacturing programme, so no two days are ever the same.
You’ll also have opportunities to:
- Contribute to product testing and innovation
- Attend specialist training and sector events
- Support out-of-hours services as part of our on-call rota
