Main Roles and Responsibilities:
- Leading Creative Recruitment Campaigns: You’ll take the lead on planning and delivering engaging, audience-focused campaigns that promote Adult courses and skills programmes, 16–18 study programmes, schools’ engagement and outreach activity, community and partnership initiatives. You’ll help bring the college brand to life through bold ideas, compelling storytelling and campaigns that stand out both online and offline.
- Managing and Inspiring a Team: You’ll manage and support staff within the marketing team where you will help create a positive, collaborative environment where ideas are encouraged, creativity is valued and people are supported to grow and develop.
- Driving Engagement and Student Recruitment: You’ll work closely with curriculum teams and key stakeholders, as well as utilising available data and audience intelligence to create marketing activity that inspires prospective students and supports recruitment targets. The marketing activity will include digital campaigns, social media content, email marketing, PR and advertising, events and partnerships. You’ll always be thinking about how we can better connect with audiences and improve the learner journey from first enquiry through to enrolment.
- Leading Brand and Reputation: You’ll oversee engaging content across the website, social media channels, paid campaigns, email communications and video and digital content and press activity. You’ll use data, insight and creativity to evaluate marketing activity and provide appropriate data to continually improve campaign performance and audience engagement while ensuring everything reflects the college’s values and voice. You will oversee copywriting across the group, including writing and quality checking content.
- Building Relationships and Partnerships: This role is all about collaboration. You’ll build strong relationships with relevant internal and external stakeholders and support the team to do the same where necessary. You will work with curriculum teams, employers and partners, external agencies, schools and community partners to achieve marketing outcomes.
- Focussing on Strategy and Plans for the Future: Working with the Head of Marketing you will support with key strategic plans and objectives aligned to the 5 year strategic plan. Working together to create new and evolving strategies of engagement to reach our targets.
