About the role
We are seeking a dynamic and experienced individual to join our team as an Apprenticeship Tutor. In this role, you will deliver and assess Level 5 People Professional and Level 3 HR Support Apprenticeships alongside adult CIPD level 3 and level 5 courses, supporting learners in their development and ensuring the high quality of their learning experience.

Roles and Responsibilities
- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of the curriculum for People professional and HR apprenticeships.
- Work collaboratively with employers, internal teams and stakeholders to ensure the curriculum aligns with industry needs and best practices.
- Ensure that programmes are innovative, engaging and make effective use of up-to-date methods and modes of teaching, learning and assessment.
- Create all learning, teaching and assessment resources to enable delivery of the programme.
- Ensure the learning materials, resources, and delivery methods are innovative, engaging, and up to date.
- Regularly review and adapt the curriculum based on feedback from apprentices, employers, and assessment outcomes.
- Deliver high-quality apprenticeship training for People professional and HR apprentices on a one-to-one basis and through both remote and face-to-face teaching and learning.
- Assess apprentices’ progress through a range of formative and summative assessment methods.
- Provide one-to-one and group support to apprentices, ensuring they are meeting key milestones and progress targets.
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with apprentices and their line managers, offering feedback and guidance to ensure their success.
- Ensure compliance with relevant apprenticeship standards, frameworks, and regulations.

- To contribute to the effective management and promotion of equality and diversity.
- To work in accordance with the Health & Safety at Work Act, ensuring the College is a safe environment for staff, students and visitors.
- To promote with staff and students the importance of safeguarding the welfare of children and vulnerable adults they are responsible for and come into contact with.
- To work at all times in accordance with North Hertfordshire College’s policies and procedures.
- To carry out such duties as may be required from time to time by the college that are appropriate to the grade of the post.
