SALARY: Up to £25,000 FTE per annum, plus benefits

HOURS: 2 roles – One role is 0.6 and another role is 0.8. This is the equivalent to 3 days and 4 days.
LOCATION: Engineering and Construction Campus and working across all campuses
JOB PURPOSE:
Industry placements and work experience are integral to every students’ experience at North Herts College. Working as part of a highly motivated, focussed team your role is to develop relationships with employers and ensure the smooth process of high-quality work placements for our study programme students.
The role includes getting out to meet businesses, setting up placements on our IT system, preparing students to go out on work experience, supporting employers to deliver a great experience and work with curriculum teams to ensure all students successfully complete their required placement hours.
The role will require you to work within the industry placement team based at our ECC campus in Stevenage plus working and visiting students on site.

ROLES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
- Working with the Industry Placement team, you will ensure students are matched to high quality work placements
- A good understanding of the requirements of new T Level qualifications and ensuring industry placements adhere to high standards
- Reporting and presenting work experience opportunities to groups of students
- Preparing students to go out on work experience, ensuring they complete the required hours and generating the required evidence
- Completing health and safety visits as required
- Working closely with curriculum teams to ensure a smooth process for all students
- Monitoring students on placement and ensuring issues are dealt with efficiently
- Producing regular reports on progress
