The Role
As an Electrician, you will be responsible for carrying out electrical installations, maintenance, testing and fault finding to a high standard while ensuring compliance with current regulations and health & safety requirements.
Key Responsibilities
- Install, maintain and repair electrical systems and equipment.
- Carry out fault finding, diagnostics and repairs.
- Read and interpret electrical drawings and technical diagrams.
- Complete electrical testing and issue relevant certification.
- Ensure all work complies with current electrical regulations and health & safety legislation.
- Work efficiently in fast-paced commercial environments.
- Maintain high standards of workmanship and customer service.
- Complete job documentation accurately and on time.
- Work independently and as part of a wider team.
What We're Looking For
Essential:
- NVQ Level 3 in Electrical Installation (or equivalent)
- 18th Edition Wiring Regulations
- Full UK Driving Licence
- ECS/CSCS Card
- Strong fault-finding and installation experience
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to work away from home when required
Desirable:
- Inspection & Testing qualification (2391 or equivalent)
- Advanced DBS Certificate
- Experience working within schools, commercial and industrial environments
- IPAF and PASMA (advantageous)
