A cutting edge dispute resolution and expert witness consultancy with a strong delay capability is currently looking for Consultants for its UK team. These opportunities seek a talented Engineer, Project Manager, Planner or QS with a strong technical aptitude, keen interest in dispute resolution and delay analysis with the ability to analyse and problem solve. The business is a growing UK practice, led from London but with flexibility for hybrid working. They offer full training and development for the successful candidates.
Responsibilities:
- Developing as a specialist consultant on dispute resolution matters
- Supporting construction and engineering expert witnesses in arbitration on delay related cases
- Analysing causes of delay on disputed projects
- High level report writing
- Supporting the Directors in promoting the business through high quality work and attending events
Requirements:
- Presentable and career minded, demonstrated through academics or other means
- Degree qualified ideally with secondary qualifications or memberships
- At least some of your experience will need to be Site/Project based with a contractor
- Your background will most likely be as a QS, Site Manager, Engineer, Project Manager or Planner
- Ideally 5-10 years commercial experience of building/civil engineering projects
- Some international experience is desirable
- Second language is considered a plus
- UK Visa essential
